Medjool Date Creepy Crawly Salty Bugs

Ingredients

  • 12 Natural Delights® Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Maldon sea salt flakes (or your favourite flakes)

Tip: Delicious with goat gouda hard cheese (optional)

Preparation

  1. Sauté the pitted Medjool dates in olive oil over a medium heat until lightly blistered on all sides (being careful not to burn them), then remove from the heat. 
  2. Open each date and stuff with small chunk of goat gouda cheese (optional) and sprinkle with sea salt flakes - NOT optional)
