Medjool Date Balsamic Glaze


  • 2 cups (480 g) balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup (120 ml) date paste
  • pinch salt


  1. Place the vinegar, date paste, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until date paste is fully incorporated and the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to a simmer and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the liquid has reduced by half.
  3. Transfer cooled glaze to a sealable container and store in the refrigerator.
