Creamy Banana & Medjool Date Ice Cream


Soft Serve Base

  • 3 ripe bananas 
  • ½ cup (118 ml) almond or coconut milk
  • 6 Natural Delights Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ tsp. vanilla


Soft Serve Base

  1. Peel and slice the bananas into 1-inch slices. 
  2. Freeze solid the banana slices for about an hour. 
  3. In a food processor, blend all ingredients together using the pulse button; scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to distribute the ingredients evenly. 
  4. Blend until you have a creamy consistency. 
  5. Enjoy immediately or store in your freezer in an airtight container. Keeps for up to 4 months.

Try these delicious flavour options:

Chocolate and Toasted Almond Dream

Add to the base recipe 2 ½ tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa and 1 cup of toasted almonds, then blend well. 

Lime and Coconut Nice Dream

Add to the base recipe the fresh zest of 1 lime and ¼ cup of shredded coconut. Blend well.

Other flavour ideas

Add up to ½ cup of your choice (or make up a combo) of cocoa nibs, chocolate covered nuts, peanut butter pretzels, pomegranate seeds, pistachios or coconut.
